Coffee Blue Launches Home Delivery Service To Fight Coronavirus
Coffee Blue will be rolling out a food and drink home delivery service to help those impacted by coronavirus.
Despite the devastation COVID-19 – commonly known as ‘Coronavirus’ – has caused, we remain determined to help our communities when they need it most.
Our mobile baristas will be bringing their mobile catering vans directly to those in self-isolation, who are working from home, who may be considered ‘vulnerable’ and the NHS workers who are fighting to combat this pandemic.
With more restrictions on social gatherings expected to be announced, those affected by the virus will find it difficult to gather essentials.
Further, we understand the great strain our NHS workers are under. They are the ones on the front line fighting this disease. With long shifts and little opportunity to leave the workplace, nurses, doctors and GPs will find little time in their days to eat meals and take care of themselves.
Whether it’s hospitals, local GP clinics or anyone under the NHS umbrella, we’d like to extend this invitation out to those who need it.
How the service will work:
At the bottom of this post, you’ll find a list of all areas that are joining the scheme, along with details on where you can contact them directly.
The corresponding franchisee will then reply to your query with a copy of their menus so you can choose which items you want to be delivered. On the vans, franchisees will stock hot and cold food, along with a range of hot and cold drinks.
Cold food stock such as sandwiches or rolls typically have a shelf life of a couple of days. This allows the chance to stock up on lunches
After the order has been submitted, you can either pay over the phone or in person. For those ordering over the phone, you’ll be sent a link via our EPOS provider iZettle to submit your payment details (we don’t see these).
Once confirmed, our vans will deliver your order to your specified location. For those working from home, in self-isolation or who simply opt to do so, we can offer doorstep drops for minimal contact during delivery.
All vans receive a 5-star hygiene rating from NCASS, and we guarantee all precautions involving cleanliness will be met to ensure safety.
